Euromeeting 2020 has a new term

The events of the most recent weeks affecting the organization of our events – Euromeeting 2020 and the World Orienteering Championships 2021. We have been waiting for the decision of the IOF about this year´s WOC in Denmark and  the current situation in the Czech Republic. 

After IOF’s decision to organise WOC 2020 in the middle of October or postponing it to 2022 or 2024 we have decided to move the Euromeeting term to 29 October – 1 November 2020. This term was chosen to suit well to the national teams and they could also attend training camps besides EM 2020. In our decision we have also considered agreements with forest owners or accommodation capacities. 

Bulletin 1 will be fixed within a week with the new deadline for applications (until August 20, 2020), all the changed information will be adjusted also in Eventor. What is not changing are the places which means the same event center in Doksy and arenas. Middle will be in Jizerské hory and weekend competitions in the area of Kokořínsko. All of it in the relevant terrains of the WOC 2021, which will take place from 4 to 9 July 2021. With the Euromeeting Czech national and public competitions have been moved to the same weekend at the end of October 2020.
