We are adding a sprint distance competition to the Euromeeting program

From the very beginning we have taken Euromeeting competitions as a important test for the World Orienteering Championships 2021. Firstly for us the organizers but also for the competitors. After the inclusion of sprints at the WOC 2021 we decided to organize a sprint within the Euromeeting which will also be the only race this year included in the prestigious PWT series. This year PWT is celebrating 25 years and on that occasion a unique book documenting all past races and other interesting  stuff will be launched. The whole act will take place in Železný Brod on Wednesday October 28th (this day is a public holiday in the Czech Republic) from 9 am. At about 11 am a live broadcast will begin which will be broadcast by ČT sport. Participation of top orienteering star sis expected, but there i salso an accompanying race for fans, spectators and complete beginners (information can be found here). The technical support will be directed by OOB TJ Turnov in cooperation with ČSOS (Czech Orienteering Association). The organizers are already looking forward to all the competitors and fans. On that occasion, the Euromeeting Bulletin was updated with information on this race.
